Sara Jones

Lead Nurse - Research, Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge

 

Sara Jones currently works as part of the Nursing Project Office team at Addenbrookes.  Sara's nursing background is in acute hospital care including ED, ITU and acute medicine as well as posts as a clinical research  nurse.  Sara is particularly interested in supporting clinical nursing staff to contribute to the research agenda.  Recent projects have included stroke, dementia and a project on the experiences of people with learning difficulties in acute hospitals. Sara is involved in running a support group for clinical research nurses and informal research sessions where nurses, midwives and allied health professionals can present their project and discuss research ideas.  Sara is a member of FRONT, the national lead research nurse group and on the Addenbrookes Charitable Trust research advisory committee.  Sara is always happy to be contacted with any research related queries.
